Our Story

In the late 1990s, after thriving in the professional dance industry alongside artists such as Backstreet Boys, Missy Elliott, Madonna, Will Smith, and Aaliyah, Tymme and Aury Reitz experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus. What began as successful careers in entertainment became a wholehearted surrender to God’s calling. Their passion for His Kingdom—and for revival in the arts—led them to found Word In Motion Dance Company and launch several ongoing events designed to inspire worship, creativity, and transformation.

As their ministry grew, Tymme and Aury stepped into pastoral leadership as the lead pastors of Life150 Church. There, they created a welcoming space where people from all walks of life could experience and express the unfailing love and power of Jesus.

In January 2026, they embraced their next ministry assignment: Connect L.A. Bible Study Gatherings. Meeting twice a month, these gatherings foster authentic community through fellowship, biblical teaching, encouragement, and spiritual support.

Tymme is also an accomplished author, having released four books. His most recent, The Core of Who You Are, is a six-week small group Bible study focused on identity and living from a place of spiritual wholeness.

 

Their creative outreach continues through The Rise Effect TV, a YouTube show that spotlights community champions and inspiring stories of impact and purpose.
